Site Controller – DSM

As a Site Controller, you have a business-critical role. Your passion for being an interactive business
partner combined with your strong data extraction/analysis skills and optimization of efficiencies will
serve you well in this focal finance position. You’ll be play a key role in ensuring that financial targets
for the manufacturing plant in Evansville, IN and ultimately global targets, are met.

What can you expect in your work?

No day is the same and you will be working in a dynamic work environment. You will be responsible to:

  • Support defining the operations/site strategy and site performance management
  • Influence business/ops management on relevant projects, including BOS, M&A, large capex,
    contracts, optimization projects and reorganization
  • Optimize and harmonize financial processes & reporting and implement best practices across DSM
  • Effectively operate in virtual teams across the region and globe
  • Monitor and interpret the consolidated CAPEX and OPEX budgeting & forecasting and provide
    explanation to management
  • Lead and finalize product costing/ raw material/cycle design & output consumption analysis
  • Perform functional cost reporting to stakeholders

What we like to see in your experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
  • Strongly prefer CMA, CPA and/or MBA
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant finance/data interpretation experience
  • Previous experience with SAP BW (Business Warehouse)
  • Classified Personnel Information
  • Working knowledge of Power BI a strong plus
  • Finance professional with broad knowledge of and track record in Finance and Control processes
  • Experience in various businesses/operations/ manufacturing environments
  • Familiar with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Ability to challenge the status quo while at the same time serving as a business partner
