Senior Innovation Project Manager – Marel

Location: Boxmeer, The Netherlands
Hours: 40

Due to growth, we are seeking a Senior Innovation Project Manager for our R&D team within Marel Poultry, located in Boxmeer. As Senior Innovation Project Manager for one of our key long term roadmaps, you will be directing all interconnected projects in this area simultaneously. By taking a high-level view of the entire program, communicate with the stakeholders, and guide project managers/teams to ensure they are all working effectively toward the project’s objective.

What you will be doing

  • Daily project management throughout the program lifecycle
  • Define the governance across projects
  • Plan the projects in the overall program and monitor the progress
  • Manage the budget for the projects
  • Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements
  • Coordinate the (internal and external) projects and their interdependencies
  • Manage and utilize resources across projects in cooperation with the innovation management
  • Manage the relations and expectations with all stakeholders
  • Manage all communications related to contracts and report the potential contract risks. Ensure correct realization of the contracts in terms of the (internal) client’s requirements and performances.
  • Align deliverables in accordance with Marel’s product development process and to the project’s outcome
  • Manage the main project documents

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ proven experience in Project Management in a technical environment.
  • Bachelor degree or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience in managing higher degrees of complexity
  • Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques, including budgeting and more complex resource allocation
  • Ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved and multi-disciplinary
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
  • Experience with and being comfortable working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organisation is an advantage.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Dutch language skills are preferred.
  • The job might require some travelling to customers.
