Product Owner – Bosch Thermotechniek

At Bosch in Deventer we are looking for a experienced Product Owner.

The Product Owner is responsible for realizing a feature within the product based on the Program Backlog.
Has thorough knowledge of a specific field of expertise and is responsible for the priority of a feature team’s Backlog to ensure that it is in line with the Program Backlog. Supports the PPO and “defends” the team’s interest within the Program Backlog. (Technical conscience for the PPO with respect to nonfunctional requirements).
Coordinates detailed functionalities and scope with (international) stakeholders.

Backlog

• Provides input on the plans at the product level within one’s branch of knowledge.
• Coordinates priority with the PPO and provides insight into estimates of the time required for a feature.
• Translates these plans at the product level to items by specifying scope and priority and informing the team.
• Monitors the quality and accepts the deliveries.

Coördination

• Draws up and oversees the schedule of one’s own activities.
• Oversees the team’s schedule.
• Ensures coordination and correct priority.
• Acts as a sounding board for the team clarifies and coordinates with PPO.

Optimization

• Seeks opportunities and new technologies at the product level.
• Advises on optimizations and developments within specific expertise.
• Is responsible for including nonfunctional requirements as well as for the sustainability of the product.

Education

• Higher vocational/university level Engineering degree, supplemented by knowledge of computer science, project management, and product portfolio.
• Knowledge of English.
