What we Offer

We are now offering job vacancies in Niaga®, one of the Innovation Ventures or Growth Businesses within Covestro. Together with our partners Niaga redesigns products for circularity, so materials won’t end up as waste. We are focusing on the big one-product waste streams: carpet, furniture panels and mattresses. We help make product simple – fewer different materials, clean and infinite – reusable & recyclable, and dismantlable with our click-unclick technology. Moving reuse and cyclability from theory to practice starts with material transparency. That’s why every product has a Niaga® tag that comes with a unique product passport. By scanning the tag, you’ll see exactly what a product is made of and how it can be returned for recycling.

The number of partners in carpet, mattresses and furniture panels that are bringing Niaga®-tagged products to the market is growing. Therefore the marketing team is looking for a new team member to manage the partnership marketing activities from Niaga side and help grow the Niaga product label brand over applications, sectors, industries and countries.

Purpose of the role

The Partnership Marketer is responsible for driving and maintaining strong long-term and meaningful relationships with our partners – i.e. carpet, mattress and panel manufacturers and other stakeholders in the value chain and ecosystem (e.g. suppliers, recyclers) to ensure effectiveness and on-time delivery of marketing initiatives across channels.

Ideally, the partnership marketeer becomes a strategic advisor and liaison to the team and to partners, supporting them in marketing the partnership, their circular products and the Niaga® tag story.

Responsibilities include

  • Serving as a point of contact for all marketing activities of our partners, developing and maintaining trusted and long-lasting relationships with partners and internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting the timely & successful delivery of marketing activities of partners across channels
  • Develop uniform marketing assets required by the carpet, mattress and panel teams and their partners (e.g. brochures, decks, images) within the Niaga® brand framework and brand manual and within time and budget
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure cross-partner and cross-channel alignment, innovation and wider corporate support
  • Guard the consistent use of the partnership brand guidelines and contribute to the improvement
  • Develop scaled content to empower our partners on their own channels (e.g. social media, websites)
  • Support partners with events such as tradeshows and webinars
  • Drive innovative campaigns with our new or existing partners to support channel targets
  • Drive testing, analysis, optimisation and reporting on (partner) marketing performance to identify key levers and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create, implement, and support lead generation efforts across our network
  • Driving the development of the frontrunner partner community and platform
  • Taking an active role in developing strategies and approaches in marketing, advocacy, stakeholder management and the use of the Niaga tag and product passports for the platform and individual partners
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Answering partner queries and identifying marketing opportunities among and over existing partners, and/or identifying areas of improvement to meet the goals
  • Propagating the Niaga philosophy
  • Ensure partners can appropriately represent Niaga® through relevant training

What you offer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, partner marketing or related field
  • Experience in and/or affinity with the circular economy and sustainability is a pré
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams, cultivate relationships; build consensus & influence business partners
  • Experienced in working with internal stakeholders and external parties to establish efficient and scalable processes
  • Excellent negotiation and account management skills
  • Ability to think strategically to turn insights into proposals and actions
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
  • The result-driven mindset with an analytical approach to drawing conclusions
  • Quick learner, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability and willingness to travel, including international travel when needed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, preferably also fluent in Dutch and/or German
