DICI Site Facilitator – DSM Engineering Materials

The Challenge

The Site Facilitator has a key role to play in enabling the organization to progress in the Culture of Continuous Improvement and to deliver sustainable benefits and guides the Site Steering Committee on-site and reports to the Manager Improve and functionally to the Master Facilitator. He/She is the principal leader of the CI program on-site and must proactively manage risks, stakeholders and milestones. You will assist the Master Facilitator in setting up the preparation phase of the deployment. And possesses strong facilitation and change management skills and has the potential to be part of the Site Management Team (if not already).

The Position

As DICI Site Facilitator DEM you have the following key focus areas:

Key areas of accountability/responsibility

  • As DICI Site Facilitator enable and drive the site Continuous Improvement journey
  • As member of Site Steering Committee DICI decide and steer the program, progress and results
  • Ensure Quality of the program and secure proper risk management on the program
  • Develop and support communication plan on DICI
  • Support Implementation Task Force (ITF) Leaders, DICI Line Managers, Mindset & Behavior Leader with developing and executing deployment plans & progress and result monitoring
  • Act as Site Trainer for ITF’s and SSC Members
  • Progress Reporting on DICI practices, deployment and performance towards Site Steering Committee
  • Perform foundation and pillar TRACC assessments at a site
  • You will report to the Manager Improve and functionally to the Master Facilitator

The Ideal

The required experience, knowledge and skills:

  • At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Degree preferably in mechanical/electrical/applied physics or chemical engineering
  • Continuous Improvement attitude
  • Connects and builds bridges between people, departments and sites in an open and transparent way
  • Facilitation skills towards individuals and teams to let them grow
  • Preferably a green/black belt Lean Six Sigma or willing to learn
  • Ability to challenge and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical and conceptual skills
  • Fluently in Dutch and English
