As Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process: from covering the recruitment needs of each manager until the final contract is to be made. As a dedicated on-site recruiter, you will manage the recruitment within the HR function. Using innovative sourcing strategies and methodologies you will identify, source and select appropriately skilled candidates and communicate back to each candidate in a professional and timely manner in order to excel the candidate’s expectations.

Main tasks

  • Participate in or manage Talent Acquisition related projects, locally and globally
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and hiring managers to determine and anticipate staffing needs and changes as well as helping create innovative and robust recruitment strategies and execute processes and programs to support the location/Region
  • Design the sourcing and selection strategy for a recruitment need and align this with the hiring manager and HR business partner
  • Take the driving seat during the whole recruitment process and encourage all stakeholders to actively contribute as well. During the full recruitment process, you guard that Marel excels in providing the best in class candidate experience to our candidates and you encourage all stakeholders to raise the bar in this as well
  • Write an appealing job advertisement, based on input from all stakeholders, which you’ll gather pro-actively
  • Review and screen all on- and offline response to adverts, including conducting telephone screening and skill/experience review
  • Conduct competency-based interviews together with the hiring manager
  • Meet established metrics/KPI’s for sourcing, offers and hires
  • Actively share your best practices within the Global Talent Acquisition Community and use these learned from colleagues in your day to day work
  • Retain an audit trail of contacts all logged on the ATS
  • Provide guidance and feedback to all stakeholders related to the labour market, enabling them to make the right recruitment/hiring decisions. When needed, take on the role of sparring partner to HR managers.
  • Building up and maintaining a relationship with the hiring manager and all other stakeholders, keep them continuously up-to-date throughout recruitment processes and also on general talent acquisition and employer branding activities
  • You build and maintain a relevant network of potential candidates (talent pool)
  • Brand ambassador: advocate of the Marel EVP and brand – tailored for specific disciplines as well as maintaining contact with schools and training institutes and frequently represent Marel when visiting exhibitions and job fairs
  • Team up with other recruiters in multisite or international recruitment processes, occasionally take the lead in this as well

About you:

  • 3-5 years experience in recruiting highly skilled technical candidates
  • Bachelor degree in relevant field
  • Demonstrable recruitment experience either in-house or within an agency environment, preferably in an international environment and/or matrix organization
  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates and basic reporting
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills in English
